He might not be the hero we want, but he’s one hundred percent the hero we deserve!
Hunter Houston is the South’s #2 Monster Hunter, behind Robert “Bubba” Brabham. Hunter isn’t the guy you call when the fate of the world is on the line. He’s the guy you call about…the other stuff. He handles the light work, the less world-ending threats, the second-string monsters, basically.
Until now.
Bubba’s not available, and the poop is hitting the fan. Now Hunter and his ragtag band of misfits (even more ragtag than Bubba’s if you can believe that!) have to step up to the plate and play in the big leagues, with the fate of the world at stake.
We are so screwed.
Hunter Houston’s Tall Tales collects four stories of the South’s second-string monster hunter doing his very best to not get dead, keep his whole world from getting ripped apart by grumpy beasties, and keep his overbearing mother from driving all his employees to quit!
And yeah, he’d way rather deal with monsters than with Mama.
Hunter Houston’s Tall Tales is the newest release from award-winning author Bobby Nash (Snow, The Tom Meyer Mysteries, 85 South). Set in the Bubba the Monster Hunter universe, Hunter Houston shows that second-best doesn’t mean second-rate.
