For nearly a century, Adam Franks has hunted the Brotherhood of Blood, a fanatical resurrectionist cult bent on unlocking the secrets of eternal life. When he is summoned back to the place of his unfortunate birth, Adam discovers his quest is still not complete. Children are disappearing from the streets of Ingolstadt and whispers of dark rituals abound.
Adam’s newest adventure will show him once and for all where true loyalties lie and leave him questioning his very existence. After all, how does a monster know if he truly possesses a soul until it is in jeopardy?
This Shadow Council urban fantasy novella comes from the world of Quincy Harker, Demon Hunter. Similar in length to Bookshots, these novellas provide a glimpse behind the curtain at an urban fantasy world where demons walk the earth, and the monster may well be the hero.
